to tune out the mean things you say about my boy!"

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President George W. Bush's father accused the news media of "personal animosity" toward his son and said he found the criticism so unrelenting he sometimes talked back to his television set.
"It's one thing to have an adversarial ... relationship -- hard-hitting journalism -- it's another when the journalists' rhetoric goes beyond skepticism and goes over the line into overt, unrelenting hostility and personal animosity," former President George Bush said.
More here.

Suck it up, Poppy! If you hadn't installed your homicidal maniac son as would-be king, a lot of American and many, many more Iraqis would be alive today.
Ever think, shithead, that your dim son deserves all the criticism and a lot more that the lapdogs still aren't giving him.
Shout your lungs out. Now you know what we've felt like for six miserable years.
Isn't it time for you to kick the bucket already? Satan must not want you, either.

Bush the Elder Wimp: I used to pick Georgie up by the ears, it didn't seem to do him any harm and Bar thought it was hilarious...

Does George H.W. think that the television is talking to him personally?

I remember watching him talking directly to the television set on that magical night in 2000. He told it to help Jim Baker steal the election back from Al Gore and darned if the thing didn't do just that. Hinkey!

Poppy's describing the night he had ol' Battleship Bar dress up like Princess Leia...

Dear Poppy:
I don't have any personal feelings for your "boy". I don't want to be his friend or his wife. What I want and expect your "boy" to do is the job he was elected to do. George Jr. treats the Presidency with no more importance than "Greek Week" chairman. At least you tried, Poppy. You didn't always make the right decision, but you made the decision. You didn't blame Carter, Johnson or Kennedy. Most of the time you took it like a man. Your "boy" doesn't have that capacity. Perhaps your treating a 60 year-old man like a boy is the problem, Poppy. All birds must leave the nest and fly on their own. Push your "boy" out of the nest. Let's see if he can fly like an eagle or crash to the ground like a wounded chickenhawk.

Maybe it's just me, since my parents quit fighting my battles for me when I was about 6, but this is just embarrassing. "My daddy says for you to quit picking on me!"

I call that bold talk from a JFK conspiratoratin', Oval Office adulteratin', strawman dictator 'don't spill the beans about our little drug money arrangement' deposin', Partners-In-Crime pardonatin', oil and armaments conglomeratin', New World Orderatin' worldfucker.
Go to Hell, Bush.

Daddy talks to a TV and junior to the big guy in the sky. I am sure both are listening. At least now we know where junior got it.

So, for instance, the rhetoric of Ann Coulter or Robert Novak is perfectly okay, but reality-based reporting and commentary crosses the line? If only those damn facts weren't so biased against poor li'l Georgie.

Waaahhh...Hey Poppy call jeb to change your diapers. You make me puke.

Well isn't this a sharp contrast to the days of being a fighter pilot in the Pacific the last time you did a half respectable job. That was before you impregnated the beast and you pushed your spawn into politics. Now you've finally come to the realization that you should have left politics and the string pulling to Prescott because trust fund brats don't necessarily make good leaders.

I can't wait for his funeral.

You bet it's personal! If you can't take teh heat, exercise your 2nd Amendment and shoot yer effin' TV!

And for that matter, we could have done quite well without your lying, skanky ass as well, Pappy!

Oh no, the rotten, fecal stained apple never falls far from the worm-riddled, gnarled tree. Poppy, the bad Seed is YOUR (and the Battleaxe's) accomplishment. He's aped the very same sheet you yourself pulled during your toothache of a presidency.
You two krackers have done such damage to this country that both of you have EARNED a spot in the hottest, most sulfurous corner of Hell.
BTW STFU you liver spotted old whiner. STFU, NOBODY cares what you think least of that boy you're so charmingly defending. Bitch!

Two words for you, you senile old fuck face: Willie Horton. YOU'RE the one who mastered lowering the bar in the politics of personal destruction. So, like everyone else has said, STFU. No one cares what you, your succubus of a wife and the rest of your worthless, criminal family have to say any longer.
Don't you have a cabin to build in Paraquay?

Hmm... I don't recall any statements from Poppy about how the "personal animosity" of the press and his party went "over the line into overt, unrelenting hostility..." when Clinton was president.
Posted by: strangely enough | January 29, 2007 at 01:54 PM
Why Margie,
I think Homeland Security has some funds for building cabins that they haven't used yet.
Why don't we just send ole Poppy over to Chertoff and let them rustle up some cheap contractors to build 'em some places in that far away country where the Bush crime family can stay as far away from US as possible.
(until the warrants go out for their arrests)
