Knee-walking, commode-hugging drunk.

Oh, man, yeah - I saw that this morning watching the game (was it just this morning?) - I was like, "dude's hammered". I love that Laura got the hell out and didn't try to help his sorry ass.
Jeeze, way to bring dignitudiness back to the country fuckknob!

Has he had a stroke or something? Sure seems like it.
Posted by: Caveat | August 11, 2008 at 12:05 AM
I feel like this country's been suffering from a massive stroke ever since December 2000.

All that bike riding hasn't done much for his paunch.
Drinkin' will do that, though.

If he isn't drunk then what the hell is wrong with him? Having two guys around to help him down the stairs is worrisome to say the least.
I hope he enjoyed his Olympic vacation charged on our credit card. According to Cokie Roberts yesterday, Sen. Obama should not have gone to visit his grandmother in Hawaii, but should have vacationed here on the mainland. Of course his grandmother doesn't live here on the mainland, but Cokie seemed to think it was too exotic to vacation in Hawaii. No problem I guess for the frat boy in chief to go to China and yuck it up before any camera aimed his way.

I've said they should call this the 2008 "NBC-Duhbya" Summer Olympics.
You can hardly watch any event without shots of bloody dubya in the stands, or clips of him goofing off with beach volleyball girls, etc. But what's going on here? Is there video up somewhere of this?

Caveat funny you should mention that - Watching his interview on NBC last night my kids noticed that he kept holding his left hand up in a weird way enough to ask if he had had a stroke.

maybe georgee fall down and go boom on his bike ride.
Posted by: pansypoo | August 11, 2008 at 01:39 PM
Would falling off the bike give him a stroke? What? A person can always hope, right?
Posted by: thepoliticalcat | August 11, 2008 at 01:48 PM
Actually, I think he had one years ago and no one's noticed. His face seems to sag on one side, one eyelid drooping, and he's certainly far less articulate than he was as governor of texas. In fact, although he always was a fucking mushmouth, his speech patterns have changed enough over the past decade to be worrisome.

You guys are making a pretty big leap. Don't you have to have a brain to have a stroke????
Whatever the case...that picture is scaaaarrry!
Posted by: Margie in Austin, Texas | August 11, 2008 at 06:08 PM
Another pretty big leap is the idea that those folks are tryin' to prevent him from stumbling headlong down the stairs.
Posted by: NOTeasy | August 11, 2008 at 07:19 PM
most people are misaligned. georgee more so.

Attaturk's got a comparable shot, only W's wearing a white shirt. How many times did this happen, exactly?
Posted by: stinger | August 12, 2008 at 10:08 PM
Okay, so here's my two cents. I think that Georgie had to be sedated in order to keep him from ducking and running for cover at any given moment. It is rumored that he has rather severe (justifiable?) fears of being assassinated while in office. They protect him from any and all public criticism here in the United States to such an extreme that America has "Free Speech Zones" at events that he or his cadre will attend that are nowhere near the site or route to the site, but his recent trips abroad have subjected him to collective rage from angry protesters all over the world. This guy has no idea how to behave in public anymore. (....and, I unkindly like to thing that he is poop-faced too.)
