I'm prettier and more popular than you."

The conference is also a showcase for up-and-coming Republican governors who might want a crack at the Oval Office themselves, including Minnesota's Tim Pawlenty, Florida's Charlie Crist and Louisiana's Bobby Jindal. And none of them was putting up Palin lawn signs.
When Pawlenty said, "'Drill, baby, drill!' by itself is not an energy policy" - referring to the chant that became a staple of Palin's rallies - the target of his tweak was clear.
...
When asked if Palin was the best choice McCain could have made for a running mate, no one jumped to answer.

...and which of these Republican governors is really, truly ready for the White House?
Sarah Palin seems to be the tip of a very ugly iceberg.

That is a LOT of makeup you have on, Sarah; don't let John McCain see you like that.

I believe the technical term is "neener, neener, neener!!!"

Show us that jaw, Sarah!

Oh, I think you're just jealous because Simple Sarah gets more attention from anonymous men on blogs than you do. /winks

We here in Minnesota would just love to give you Timmy Puhlenty. Here - take him. Please! I'll help him pack, even. Don't care where he goes just so long as he leaves.

Reminds me of the nickname for the late Martha Mitchell - The Mouth that Roared. A yearbook dedication to her was prophetic:
I love its gentle warble,
I love its gentle flow,
I love to wind my tongue up
And I love to let it go.
(Courtesy of Wikipedia)
Though to be fair, she eventually blew the whistle on Nixon and may have helped to cause The Watergate investigation. Sometimes even the frothiest ravings may serve the common good.
R.I.P. Martha....

That one from Mississippi looks like a recast of D'nesh D'souza. When will there be justice in Mississippi?
As for Palin or any of them, we'll see what they look like four years from now and what the country looks like. They've driven themselves into a rut and I don't think they are getting out.
Which is fine, the party is going on very nicely knowing they aren't going to be around.

Amazing! Her raw ignorance cost the republicans the election, she was the laughing stock of the media and an instant national joke and she can stand there with that smug bitch expression - whew John, you sure know how to pick 'em!

My, my, my. Looks like someone is back to doing her own makeup.

It's so amazing that these people are able to show their faces in public and act like they are right. I can't conceive of that level of denial or arrogance. The minute you start believing your own (good) press and your yes disciples is the moment you truly lose all perspective.

smug and ignorant is no way to go through life
neologism: smugnorant!

Next to her, drag queens are more feminine.

I'm wondering who told her she looked good in black.
I don't think Sarah understands that, right or wrong, her starburst quotient declines with each passing year. With nothing else to offer but her looks, a bitter reckoning awaits. I hope I'm still around.

i take back everything i ever said about paying her makeup person 22k a day. that poor dear sweet woman should have been paid 5x, 10x that, for her handiwork, now that we see the creature without the benefits of the makeup person's skilled ministrations
keep talking sarah.
also, god thinks you're stupid and mean and ugly and your clothes don't fit you right.
