Via the LAT:
Invoking an argument used by President George W. Bush, the Obama administration has turned down a request from a watchdog group for a list of health industry executives who have visited the White House to discuss the massive healthcare overhaul.
...
As a candidate, President Obama vowed that in devising a healthcare bill he would invite in TV cameras -- specifically C-SPAN -- so that Americans could have a window into negotiations that normally play out behind closed doors.

I worked for this guy, cold calling people, not all of them were very nice to me. This is the last time I get played for a sucka by these motherfuckers. This damn country is like an alcoholic that hasn't hit it's bottom and won't change until that happens, the little devil on my right shoulder tells me to start voting for every Repuke candidate just to push this country to it's bottom. I just can't do it though, third party candidates from here on out.

So, so depressing. That, and not releasing the Cheney interview, go ahead to mining and lumbering interests, Gitmo, not releasing prison abuse photos, and my favorite..Geitner.

Anyone ready for a real, truly progressive third party? Really, it's that or watch this country go out with a whimper.

i'm ready, pissed! heck, we don't even have to write a party platform. just take the democratic party platform when we leave. then every shred of progressiveness will have left the party with the actual progressives.
