There is some serious snark wattage here:
Going Rogue is not without merit. It certainly delivers what its intended audience wants. Readers who already like Palin will love it, much as America’s pedophiles will find the latest Jonas Brothers DVD to their liking. The authors’ talent for communicating the ex-Governor’s unique rhetorical style in print is remarkable – the Sesame Street cadence of her delivery and the intermittent Tourette’s-like winks leap off the page. The book, recession priced at just $9, is also an ideal gift for the Aunt or Uncle who assaults your email inbox with a dozen weekly communiqués on the President’s Kenyan birth and the constitutionality of income taxes.
UPDATE: You can also read Ed's snark at Instaputz!

you're right! I loved the passage:
If you are in a hurry, here is the succinct version of this review: Going Rogue is shit. It is groundbreaking in its banality and disregard for facts. If you are sentient, it will pain you to read it. Imagine watching your parents 69 one another while John Madden sits behind you and bellows out color commentary and you will have some idea of how excruciating and profoundly scarring it is to plow through each page of this wholly fictional monument to self-aggrandized mediocrity.

I had to clamp my hands over my mouth to keep from HOOOOOOOOOTING w/laughter over both passages - that is some USDA Grade A CHOICE Angus Snark there... :)
I'm crying from laughter on the inside...but when I get out of here in a couple of hours...will be bursting w/laughter. :)

I don't think she's a liar. I think she has a messiah complex, aided by that snake-handler praying over her and those frenzied pentacostals pouring energy into her ambitions.

I know a lot of 49-yr old cunts that are better lookin' than that shit-spewing piece o' demonism, and they got stronger insides, too.
They don't have those Bozo eyes like that that are so dreamy...
Where was I?
She's an asshole!!

Thanks to the book royalties they won't need socialized medicine to pay for it.

That would be right down her "free market" alley, I think.
But, it also means we're all going to have to suffer through the media traipsing along for the longest book tour in history.

The General's review was TAKEN DOWN by Amazon! No fair! But yes, that was a serious AND snarky review. As a survivor/reader of "Going Rogue," I call Ed absolutely on the money.

my roflmao line:
"Palin skirted the line between chaos and comedy – half Ringling Brothers circus, half Triangle Shirtwaist fire."

The authors' talent? That's a plural possessive, if I'm not mistaken and I don't think I am. Ghost writers in the sky...

General JC Christian's review of Going Rogue appears first in my browser. Not his best effort, IMHO, but it's apparently being rated as "useful" by the idiots who adore Ms. Palin, as well as by the General's many fans.
