You punch a blustering bully in the fuckin mouth and he will be so taken aback that he doesn't know what to do.

A thing of beauty.
Republican cowards like Tancredo and Cheney have gotten away with playing the pro-military card way too long.
Posted by: Gummo | November 07, 2009 at 11:17 AM
Priceless.
Posted by: snuffella | November 07, 2009 at 11:24 AM
O, the righteous indignation! Run back to your buddies and cry, Tancredo, you big loser. What an asshat!
Posted by: donnah | November 07, 2009 at 11:32 AM
It's great to see a fellow lib have the guts to bitch slap one of these assholes. And hey, Tancredo, running away from a fight doesn't constitute a win you little punk ass bitch. Or is he a bitch ass punk? Either way is fine I guess.

I guess he got another deferment so he wouldn't have to "fight" Markos. Coward then and coward now.

i like the new fire-breathing democrats on teevee. need more.

I keep reading that Markos "insulted" Tancredo. Can't they just say he spoke truth to an *sshole?
Posted by: Sorghum Crow | November 07, 2009 at 12:26 PM
Huff and puff, harrumph!
Next, Darth Cheney and the real man of that family, Lizzie.
Posted by: HarpoSnarx | November 07, 2009 at 12:58 PM
Those who encourage Tancredo to 'run' probably didn't have this in mind. Couldn't happen to a nicer racist chickenhawk lout.
;>)

I can think of a couple of politicians who I wish had the same big brass balls Markos does.

What more appropriate time for the phrase, "The Truth Hurts, Doesn't It!!
Tancredo is very likely afraid that the many people who didn't know he is a draft-dodger will now hear it and want to know if it's true. The Republican party is filled with these draft-dodging chickenhawks, aided and abetted by Rausch Limbarf who dodged the draft by claiming an anal cyst.

How Tancredo got a 1-Y while also a member of the Young Americans for Freedom...? Instant YouTube classic!

This is less important than those on the left might hope. Tancredo goes on a show that, as one poster put it, 'only lefties watch'. Therefore he is so low on the right wing totem pole that he goes on _their_ shows as a punching bag.
Hannity got very little credit for humiliating Colmes on a regular basis, and with good reason.

Dave - I think Rachel Maddow might belong on your list.

Go to MSNBC and watch the full 7:27 clip. David Shuster is clearly on Kos' side in this and at the end of it gives the GOP "leadership" a righteous smackdown.

Awww... Poooooooooooor pussssssssssssssy... Wozzamatta, Tommy? Faced with reality and truth, you wilt like the pansy that you truly are? Go back to your ranch in Colorado and fortify your moat, sweetums.

So MSNBC says it "always welcomes Tom Tancredo's point of view"? Tom Tancredo doesn't HAVE a point of view. Tom Tancredo has a paycheck - from Pharma, where he's chief lobbyist. He went there after pushing the Medicare drug plan through the house (you know, the one that forbade the US Gov't from negotiating prices with the drug companies?)
And MSNBC welcomes his view. Dear god.

Hell, I was really depressed when I got my draft notice, but, that didn't seem to make much difference to the army. How did that become an excuse for Tancredo?
Especially since he loves guns so much....
But, he certainly is touchy about the subject these days, isn't he? The truth just launched him right out of his chair....

That clip just gave me a sense of hope that I've been losing this week, after so many months of dealing with selfish, greedy a-holes, having to suffer their incessant whining about money and taxes while people like myself are barely staying alive.
Fuck them and thank you Markos for the truth spoken in such articulate beauty: "THe Republicans are scared to death of government programs...." yes, as he went on to say, because the people need and will benefit from government programs and loard almighty, that just might cut into some asshole's yacht/mistress fund.
A point you apparently missed catclub?
Man, I might, I just might be able to face the devil tomorrow with my invoice and when they start whining, I'll think of what Markos said and smile, smile, smile.
There is hope.

As Orrin Hatch said a couple of days ago, the GOP (and GOTP) are scared to death that anything the DEMs successfully pull off will pull people away from the parties of hate and intolerance and that the wingers will never get their power back again.
The bottom line, as Orrin so gracefully provided, for these parties of hate is maintenance of power, not support for the people who voted them in. I thank Mr Hatch for cutting to the chase and saying what ever single one of them lives and breathes.
