MORE drunken Santas on my walk home from a trip to Brooklyn! I was unaware of this growing phenomenon, Santacon.
Thanks, Santacon-goers. Try explaining to the irate parents when their kids ask, "Daddy, you told me it wasn't right to go pee in the street. Why is Santa doing it?"

Relax, WT. Soon the NYPD will come and shoot them all, and things will get back to normal.

Behold the assault of the minimum-wage Santas....
Peeing in the streets may be the least of NYC's problems when they all discover that Bloomberg is still mayor....

Santacon first came to New York in 1998, and it's been freaking me out ever since. Now there are old-timer Santas going "Aw man, Santacon has been totally ruined by clueless newbies! These young punks think all you have to do is put on a crappy Santa hat and get drunk! Real Santas know you need to wear the beard, too! And the red suit! And the fluffy pillow under the suit! And the boots! And sleigh bells! And THEN you get drunk and march through the streets chanting menacingly! I tell ya, they don't care about our sacred traditions at all…"

Dozens in the Castro tonight, spraying fake snow on merchants' windows. Also, vomiting and screaming. Ho ho heteros.

"Daddy, you told me it wasn't right to go pee in the street. Why is Santa doing it?" ---> Guess why Santa gives, but doesn't receive, any presents !
