Noel(le?) is a wee Siberian cat and was a Xmas present for two very, very good little girls yesterday! She's the calmest kitten I've ever met.

I cat a like that, he looked just like that when i found him as a kitten, mewing behind a bush in a rainstorm. He lived to be about twenty years old human years.

too cute.
for scale, look at the (probably) same sized bell and collar tag on a full grown, yawning Louis.

The kitten is indeed good-looking... but appears terrified or unhappy... and I HATE big sad eyes like those sacharrine-sweet Keane kids.

Siberian Forest Cats are so similar to Maine Coons and Norwegian Forest Cats, that the people trying to make them a recognized breed (eligible for awards at cat shows) had to create a list of precise differences.
If this kitten is anything like my Skrogg, the owners will have a lovable wonderful friend. Meanwhile... give her a brushing and a cuddle... STAT!

She was a bit overwhelmed with ten of us sitting around the table, worrying about the state of the Democratic Party, and reminiscing about when Left used to mean left and not dead center. But Dependable Renegade, great to have you there! Noelle is loving those big hairy pipe cleaners you brought us.
P.S. Noelle is doing very well today, climbing the Christmas tree and holding her own with the dog....
