Why wouldn't Sarah Palin be at an Oscar gifting suite?

The Fox News contributor and one-time vice presidental hopeful showed up to Silver Spoon's Oscar Suite in West Hollywood yesterday, benefiting the Red Cross.

But like all politicians, Sarah and her crew were hardly gems when the cameras weren't rolling...

"They were like locusts," says one vendor at the suite, regarding Palin and her large group of hangers-on. "She showed up with like 20 people, and they immediately swarmed the place taking everything!"

S.P. was accompanied by daughter Willow [Ed. note: my god, SHE'S still alive!], grandson Tripp and a bunch of female handlers. A source at the suite said Palin was stopping in while daughter Bristol was doing a photo shoot nearby.

We're told Palin was quite the prima donna and that she insisted the suite be opened two hours early so she could come when no looky-loos would be around.

"They told us last minute to get here superearly for [Palin]," says our rightfully annoyed source. "Then, she wouldn't let anyone take her picture or do any interviews."

Jesus tits, these people make Britney Spears look positively refined.

Please tell me this trailer trash is going to be on the red carpet on Sunday. I cannot WAIT to see what fucking animal print she shows up wearing.

Sweatshirts and leggings, a blow-out by a celeb hairstylist, jewelry, watches, cosmetics and 40 (40!!!!!) pairs of headphones sounds to me that it comes damn near to $1700 worth or more, so she probably got more than she gave. And please - she donated it to charity later?

Sarah couldn't have left without at least $10,000 worth of swag, and she insisted that ALL her entourage (at least 20 people) be allowed to grab stuff.

If her check was for $1700, that was probably another dig at Levi. No matter what the amount, it was almost certainly written from SarahPAC.

I think that Palin and her entourage indeed resemble one of those biblical
