News that will drive you to drink
Ohio Governor brags about being uninformed.
- The Pantheon of Dunces - Notable theocrat and foreign policy dingbat Michele Bachmann is one tough cookie. The Nut concludes after the UK Embassy in Iran was attacked that if she were president, she would close our nonexistent US embassy in Tehran, too. You know, in moral support. Then, she adjusted her tinfoil hat and hid behind some potted plants. (TPM)
- Speaking of dunces - Did you know it is just about a month before Iowa starts to hold the first vote in selecting the GOP Goat Rodeo Contender? So can it be any surprise that the Anyone-but-Willard contingent is now begging Alaska's part-time governor and full-time grifter Sarah Palin to jump into the race? Yes, Mooselini still has fans who are hoping that Quitty McGrifter will change her mind. Again. (Raw Story)
- But it's OK if you are a Republican, cont. - Hey, anyone remember the 2007-2008 financial crisis when we were just moments, literally, from another Great Depression? Me Neither!, but anyway, Hank Paulson is alleged to have tipped off some of his buddies about Fannie and Freddie the very day before the US Government bailed them out. But it is not crony capitalism when ex-Wall Street Bankers and current GOP Administration Officials do it. (Daily Mail)

Is it any wonder that a party that is so preoccupied with literally crazy stuff can't field a candidate that even appears to be anything but an escapee from a mental institution or I guess I should use jail because here in the great Southern State of Georgia we just lock up our mentally ill people in the jails, having closed the mental health facilities, it saves money.

I disagree. It's not OK, even if you are a Republican cont.

Gaah, Kasich is our governor and the reason he doesn't read newspapers is that every one of them is filled with articles about what a shitty job he's doing and how much the people of Ohio despise him.

But ... but ... Nancy Pelosi engaged in insider trading. Even the liberal media have been reporting that. So both sides are equally bad. Which means gummint can't do anything right ... so maybe the GOP has a point? Anyway, the truth is somewhere in the middle, so the correct policies are those half-way between what Obama, who must be a liberal because he has a funny name and more melanin than I have, says we should do and what the Tea Party says we should do. ( / low information voter who will be the deciding vote in the 2012 elections ).
