As many of you know, I think that there is a war on Democracy by theocrats in which women are one of the major fronts.

"U.S. District Judge Joe Heaton ruled that Hobby Lobby was not entitled to the constitutional protections for faith-based institutions in matters of principal. • Abolish the Senate - Sweet Jeebus, Bob Corker (Tenn.) and Lamar Alexander (Tenn.) have decided that the thing to do in the debt ceiling hostage taking is to demand eligibility changes (ie, you will be much, much older before you can retire) to Medicare and Social Security. I've lived in this shithole for 10 years, and every day, just looking at the news brings me to tears.
I've stopped wasting time writing these two assholes over matters of policy. No point trying to appeal to them with sanity.

Between the Kooky Kristian Krazies and the Reactionaries From Tennessee, it seems the general desire of the hopelessly stupid (and the inherently corrupt) in the country is to make life just as miserable as possible for the most people in the shortest space of time.

I'm sure they think that having a goal in life is a good thing, but, geez, give it a fuckin' break, already.
