News best served on the rocks
Jake Tapper takes on the Preznint, who conveniently forgets to add that he expanded gun rights during his first term (concealed-carry guns are now allowed in National Parks and on Amtrak).
- Virginia is for (gun) Lovers - Virginia legislator Robert Marshall is proposing a bill that would require some teachers or other school staff to carry concealed weapons in schools. Just as a reminder, we've already shredded this argument. (WaPo)
- Fight them in our classrooms - Another nut wants to arm our teachers because Hamas is coming for our schools. (Tea Party Nation)
- Methinks the lady doth protest too much - Former military chaplain Gordon Klingenschmitt says that “Sexual harrassment [sic] is banned in the military, unless you're a homosexual abusing a Christian, then it's openly encouraged," and of course my favorite complaint: “imagine the horror of being ‘chosen’ as a bunkmate, and then being forced to endure ogling or groping without complaining.” Poor Gordon never had a chance to complain. (The Washington Times)
