Huckabee now blames "tax-funded abortion pills" for the massacre in Newton

Today, the usual blowhards bring forward the usual suspects:

• It's the Media's Fault! In a last gasp to be relevant, jowly moralizing scold Traitor Joe Lieberman blames video games and violent movies for mass killings. (Crooks and Liars)

What's even more frightening is that no small number of people in this country will believe this self-serving bullshit as the real truth, instead of the flamingly obvious and horribly simple explanation that filling up the country with military-grade weapons will inevitably result in mass killings.

Still, this is a country in absolute denial about a wide range of problems, so, finding some excuse to ignore the source of this one is probably very high on the to-do list.
