The unemployment rate went up in December to 7.9% Boo-er (more boo?): The wider U-6 measure of underemployment held steady at 14.4 percent. 38.1 percent of the unemployed have been out of work for six months or more. • The Confederacy - The Virginia House of Delegates approved a bill that would invite any religious or political university student group to discriminate at will and require the campus to providing them funding and access to campus facilities. For about a year now I've been seeing reports that of number of new jobs, always with the unemployemnt has gone up. If no one is getting employed, who is taking all these new jobs, space aliens?
